Music
YouTube has been such a savior to me on many occasions. Music can be so powerful, and when I choose the right videos to listen to, it can be very inspiring and motivating. I, personally, find such music as industrial, ambient, drum and bass, and metal music to inspire me, especially folk music. It opens up an energy that I can feel myself radiate, it’s just up to me to make sure what I project is positive energy. I feel though, that any type of music can be inspiring if it sings to your spirit and makes you feel uplifted and empowered.
Sometimes, it isn’t even the music that can inspire, but the video that goes along with it, especially if you are using YouTube. Images that mesh with music can be even more powerful. A lot of the relaxing videos that I watch when I just want to “zen out” show pictures of nature, or something I connect to as very spiritual.
Music has been around for a long time. Although no one knows when exactly the first bit of music was discovered, carved flutes have been found that seemingly date back to prehistoric times. In my opinion, it shows just how powerful music can be if it was one of the earliest things discovered that is still thriving now in 2020.

Playing an instrument can be very inspiring at well. When I was about 10 years old, I started playing the flute in school. It’s one thing to hear the music made from others, but it is such a wonderful feeling to create it yourself; something that no one else has made or heard, a melody that came from you. I’ve noticed in the past that how I feel when I try to play music gives direction to how the music sounds. When I am happy and in a good mood, the music is free flowing and very passive sounding. However, when I’m mad or frustrated, the music sounds forced and gruff. I see this relating to how I see energy; what you give out, is what you get in return. Let’s make it a good tune.
